In which an idea is stolen

The dragon was in the middle of one of his more striking poses, crinkling his brow and opening his mouth just enough to make sure everyone would stop and gasp at his beauty when his reflection was distorted.

This upset him greatly. What would dare disturb his gorgeous reflection? As he turned around, he found out.

Lying face down in the mud was a girl and she was wearing his shiny new scales! The dragon gasped. How dare such a creature as this pathetic human steal his idea and put on shiny scales! Did she really think she could ever compare to the beauty of those scales when they were upon him?

The dragon was angry, very, very angry, and he was determined to put that fiend in her place. She would learn it was a mistake to steal a dragon’s idea.
